Alteration of The Discovery Of America

A researcher had recently suggested that Chinese discovered America 2,500 years before Columbus.

If this is true, the history may be rewritten as new evidence suggests an ancient Chinese explorers landed on the New World (America) around 2,500 years before Christopher Columbus.

John Ruskamp, a research doctorate in Education, Illinois, claims to have spotted petroglyphs or cravings above a walking path in Albuquerque’s Petroglyph National Monument in New Mexico.

‘The readable message was likely these petroglyphs inscribed by a group of Chinese explorers thousands years ago,’ Ruskamp said. Till date, over 82 Ruskamp-identified petroglyphs have matching unique ancient Chinese scripts at multiple sites in Albuquerque and in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, Oklahoma, and Ontario.

Ruckamp said the mixed styles of Chinese scripts in the petroglyphs indicate that they were made during a transitional period of writing in china, not long after 1046 BC, hundreds of years before Columbus in 1492.

Ruskamp notes the syntax and the mix of Chinese scripts found correspond to what experts would expect explorers from China to use 2,500 years ago.

Now the question is, whom should we believe?

Science had claimed that they can determine the age of anything found on earth by using their scientific technology. So, if the (above stated) research made by Ruskamp to be found true, would Columbus still hold the name as "The Man Who Discover America" or rewritten the history as it should be?
